Tom Craine is one of the fastest rising comedians” BBC Radio 1

Tom Craine is an award winning stand-up comic, MC and writer. Since winning 'Best Comedy & Drama' at the BBC National Student Awards 2006 (hosted by BBC Radio 1) he’s already had a radio comedy commissioned for BBC Radio 2, been given his own radio show on BBC Bristol and BBCiplayer, penned laughs for BBC 3 and presented items for BBC Radio 1 & BBC 6 Music. However, he's still most proud of being named Wales' 33rd sexiest man, despite hailing from Bath.

Since leaving university in 2006 (Tom has a Degree in Child Psychology & a Post Graduate Diploma in Multimedia Journalism), Tom has performed in comedy clubs throughout the UK and clocked up an impressive list of radio & television credits, including his own radio show, ‘The Tom Craine Show’, BBC Radio Bristol.

At the Edinburgh Fringe 2009, Tom successfully debuted his first solo show, ‘Tom Craine’s Comfort Blanket’, whilst also performing daily in the critically acclaimed sketch group ‘Superclump’. This followed the huge success of his appearance in 2008 on the bill of the sold out AAA Stand Up Show.

"Wry, intelligent humour effortlessly fuels quip after quirky quip, as this fresh young talent reveals his curious perspective on the world, whilst making it his mission to compliment, rather than ridicule individual spectators. A great pick-me-up." THREEWEEKS 2009

"Tom Craine is the highlight of the show. Craine knows how to pack in the gags and covers topics ranging from terrorism to train toilets and slavery to strip-clubs, spontaneously jumping from one anecdote to the next with infectious enthusiasm. And, in what is a rarer skill for a stand-up, Craine’s unexpected punchlines keep the audience on its toes." (Beth Mellor) Ed Fest Magazine 2008

"Tom Craine's dynamic energy and fast pace show both his intelligence and razor-sharp wit...Vastly entertaining, this show proves that the AAA stand-up comedians have great things ahead of them." (Anna Fenton) Threeweeks 2008
